Posted byond on Tuesday, April 27, 2020 15:37:00 It looks like there is a bug in Windows 8 which makes Linux hosts crash on some Windows 8 machines, when the host is rebooted.
It seems to be a very simple bug and I’ve seen no official news of a fix, but I have noticed it with some of my machines and with others.
So, if you have a Linux machine running on Windows 7 or 8, and you reboot it with the Windows 8 host, it might crash the Linux host.
I don’t know if this is a problem in the Windows 7 machine, or a bug with Windows 8, but if it’s the latter, I’m not sure what you can do.
It would be nice if a fix could be found for this.
If this is the case, please let me know, as I would like to know how to fix this bug. Thanks!
