When it comes to installing Linux on your Windows PC you can use many different tools, but if you have a lot of time to kill, it’s probably worth going with a Linux distribution.

Linux distributions are relatively inexpensive, and can easily be used as a starting point for any Linux install.

If you don’t want to go the Windows route, there are a few alternatives to Linux that you can get to.

We’ll discuss the pros and cons of each one in the next article.

We’re going to go through some of the steps you have to go into the installer, and then we’ll cover some of Linux’s benefits and drawbacks.
