Fox News hosts Alex Wagner and Brian Stelter have a new feature that will turn your default browser into a “Windows 10” or “Firefox” desktop browser.
It works with both Windows 10 on desktop computers and the new Windows 10 Creators Update on laptops.
The trick is to turn off the “Enable Edge” checkbox on the Start menu.
You’ll need to go to Control Panel > System and Security > Internet Options > Edge and enable “Use Edge instead.”
This should make it much easier to open a Windows 10 desktop browser on a laptop.
Once you do this, you can open up a new Windows desktop browser from a different Windows 10 installation, like Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro.
If you have multiple computers running Windows 10, the best way to do this is to enable “Allow access to this computer only by authorized users” in your Start menu options.
But if you’re using multiple computers and need to switch back to your Windows 10 PC, you’ll need a separate “Allow to switch computers” check box in your system tray.
The feature is called “Edge in a Box” and it can be disabled by going to Control Center > Control Panel.
You can also toggle the “Edge” check boxes for your desktop browsers to “Always open in Edge” or just “Edge only” or by clicking the Settings button in the Start screen.
We tested this feature on our Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, but it should work on other ThinkPads as well.
In a world where Microsoft is constantly pushing Windows 10 updates, it’s really hard to know what’s the best bet when it comes to using a modern version of Windows 10.
Microsoft has promised to support “Edge Everywhere,” so we don’t have to worry about this feature being turned off for our laptops or computers.
For the time being, though, we recommend turning this feature off, since it won’t be a huge help when you want to install an OS update.
If the Edge check boxes aren’t disabled, this feature will also not work.
For a Windows desktop, it is also possible to install a “FireFox” browser.
You don’t need to do anything in the process to get the feature to work, and you can even disable it by clicking on the “disable” button in Control Panel, but this is not an easy feature to turn on or off, and the experience is slightly less seamless.
Microsoft does recommend that you install a new browser every time you want a new version of Edge to be built.
However, if you want an alternative to “Edge,” this feature is the best choice.
