For a list only of the available interfaces, the command is hosts interfaces show-all.

For the list of available interfaces that do not have any interfaces connected, the output is hosts interface show-interface-all, or hosts interface list.

If you use hosts interfaces to list the interfaces, it will list the interface names that are connected.

For instance, to display a list on a single interface of all the available Nis interfaces, type the following command: linux interfaces show interface-all 10.5.0-2-N10.5 The output will show a list in which all available interfaces are listed.

This can be useful for checking whether an interface is available or not.

For each interface that is not connected to the network, Linux hosts will list all available networks.

When the command list-all is used, the results are shown in the order that the interfaces are connected, rather than in the same order that they are listed in the command.

For an example, you can view the interfaces for 10.3.0, 10.4.0 and 10.6.0 on a system running Linux 3, or on the same host running Windows 98, on the following two machines: * 10.0/10.1 * 10,0/1 On each machine, the interface name for each network interface that can be found on that interface is listed, along for example: 10.1/10,0 10.2/10 10.7/10 and 10,4/10 This shows the network interfaces for the interfaces in order of connection to the host.

In this example, the network of 10.10.0 (the interface 10.15.0) is listed first, followed by the network for 10,6.1 (the network 10.12.0), and then the network 10,8.0 which is listed last.
